Another Simple Title: Antisemitism

Let's set the record straight before we get into the weeds.

1. Israel did NOT bomb the hospital in Gaza. It turned out to be a Hamas rocket that screwed up and landed in a parking lot. It was intended for Israel meaning it was headed in that direction.The media did report the corrected story.

2. the Israeli's are not trying to commit genocide. They warned the people in Gaza to get out ahead of time. They had been warning them for weeks. Israel is targeting Hamas and yes, they have every intention of obliterating Hamas. Unfortunately in war there is collateral damage. It's not the same as deliberately targeting civilians. The miliary avoids it as much as possible. Our own military does the same thing. Meantime what Muslim or Arab country has volunteered to take in the refugees? Answer: so far none and Jordan is the closest. Maybe they know something we don't.

3. Israel is NOT occupying Gaza. Radical activists keep pushing this line to people who don't know the facts. They use it to justify their attacks on Israel. 4. This anti semitism particularly in the U.S. reminds me of how Hitler came to power in Germany & turned people against their Jewish population. He convinced enough people that the Jews were the cause of their economic problems.

5. I've concluded you will always have useful idiots. You combine the idiots with anti semites in the media-whatever form it takes at the time-and enough people can be convinced they are being told the truth.

6. The anti semitism we've seen in the U.S. lately is troublesome and scary. It's also shocking. i felt certain the majority of people understood the situation in the Middle East. Apparently not.They're blaming Israel for everything when the victim IS Israel. All they're doing is defending their country and protecting their own people.

7. i bring it up frequently and i'm going to keep bringing it up. It bears repeating. After WWII and the revelations about Hitler and his final solution we promised the Jewish people "never again". Did people forget? Didn't we learn anything from our own experience with terrorists?

8. We have no leadership in the White House. It's not helping the situation. He's appeasing Iran and allowing them to have everything Trump had taken away from them either by looking the other way or aiding them directly.Obama couldn't stand Netanyahu. His administration actually tried to throw the election and prevent him from winning [election inteference]. They're still trying to undermine him if not have him removed while at the same time pretending to support israel. They're not. My guess is that Biden does what he's told and we'll leave it at that. IF we had good leadership the rise of anti sentism would be addressed. One good piece of news though. The House has finally censured Rashid Talib for her anti semitic comments. A good start.

9. Antisemtism needs addressed. A good leader would do that. The Jewish people are fearful and they have a right to be. They know their past history & their current situation. We have a leader that either goes to the beach for the weekend or back to his residence in Delaware. He's as missing in action as President as he was as candidate Biden. He can't face any problem of his own making.

10. In the end though i'm honestly puzzled with this rise in anti semitism. What have the Jewish people done that elicits such hatred? I know compared to the world's population they are a small group of people. Does that make them easy to be a scapegoat? I don't know. You tell me.

11. Israel is the only real democracy in the Middle East.The rest of the leaders are either monarchs or dictators. The regime in Iran is nothing to write home about. Israel is the last and only defense between us and very hostile actors in the Middle East. Hamas takes them down we're next in line. We better hope and pray the Israeli's obliterate them-for their own sake and ours.
