Are you anxious to find out who Pres Trump actually ends up as his VP choice and joins the ticket? Who's your favorite of what we hear is his short list?
Who's your pick on or off his list? Do you have someone in mind that hasn't been mentioned at all?
Let me know in the comments.
Normally the VP doesn't matter all that much. This time it's a little more important than usual for various reasons.
Trump is only going to serve 1 term. When he leaves office there will be another election where we have to have a nominee.
It won't be the incumbent as much as we wish it could be. He'll be ready to retire by then I'm sure. It's also possible the term isn't finished-that's ALWAYS a possibility.
When the next election comes up in 2028 the MAGA VP might be our best choice. Finally, we need a VP who's loyal, who's MAGA and who will support our President.
Anxious to hear your picks but here's mine. In the end we know who gets to make the pick.We all have a our own opinions though.
Some of these names are allegedly on his short list-some are not. Remember, they're alleged picks. They could be names he deliberately leaked or they might be pure speculation by people considered to be in the know.
Nikki Haley, bird brain, is definitely not on the list. The left tried to get that rumor off the ground. Trump put it to rest quickly.
Tulsi Gabbard:
i would accept Ms Gabbard as a vp pick and this is a person who considered her a snake up until a few months ago.
I heard her C-Pac speech and she convinced me she was sincere. Maybe she's not but she did a good job of convicing me.
Byron Donalds:
Byron Donalds is awesome. So far he's had a stellar record in Congress. He's MAGA through and through. He has charisma. You can't help but like him.
However, i'm not sure he can be VP. i think there's a rule the 2 candidates cannot be from the same state.
Trump and Donalds are both residents from the same state of Florida.
If Byron can't make VP he'd make a fantastic governor of Florida once the DeSantis term is up.
It's also possible Trump would want Donalds in another position. It doesn't have to be VP.
Ted Cruz, Jim Jordan, Harriet Hageman, Matt Gaetz, MTG.Anyone of these people are a warrior. They haven't been mentioned to date. Some are a better choice than others. Let me know what you think.
Ben Carson:
I'd love to see him back in the Trump admin. He did a great job the first time around. As a VP pick? He's a good man. He's brilliant. He's MAGA. He's a little too low key though.
It's not a negative but i don't think ppl can visualise him as a President. He doesn't radiate power and forcefulness. He has a quiet way about him. It works great in some posititions but not so much in others.
i know one can go overboard but if a candidate can hit that sweet spot people can picture them as leaders (like Trump).
Pres Trump has leader written all over him and world leaders who don't care for him personally at least respect him.
Remember Margaret Thatcher? Now a lot of people would never consider a woman powerful and forceful like they do a man but PM Thatcher was known as the Iron Lady. She had that leadership quality.
I hope Trump puts Dr Carson back in the admin though. He and Rick Perry were fantastic in the positions they had in Trump's 1st. Be great if they both went back.
Kristi Noem:
I know a lot of ppl are hoping it's Kari Lake. i'm not going to include her because she is running for Senate and we need her there.
Noem hasn't really been out there except when Trump held a rally in her state.
She doesn't make the noise some conservative governors do but being a little quieter than most doesn't mean you're not qualified.
I know she has a good record in her state, she supported Trump early on in 2016 and is defintely MAGA.
i don't really have anything against her but i'm not so sure she has the name recognition the others do. Conservatives know who she is. The general public may not.
SenTim Scott:
Love the guy. i don't know that his record is as conservative as others but it's not bad. He's well liked in his home state.
He definitely supports Trump and unlike other ppl i could mention (Mike Pence being one of them) he's loyal to people.
He and Trump seem to have hit it off. Pres Trump seems to get along with most of the people mentioned here. That's important.
We know in the end Trump will be the one making the decision. We also know he won't make the mistake he did with his first pick in 2016.
Whoever he picks, he's still the top of the ticket and has my vote no matter who he picks.
special mention
This special mention has nothing to do with the VP pick but it's an important issue i have to bring up. It has to do with another pick.
Pres Trump must consider what to do about our FBI. Nobody has faith in the agency anymore and with good reason. It's too corrupt. Obama weaponized and politicized it and that was the beginning of the end.
He's either going to have to totally dismantle it or a 2nd option- get a new director at the top. I suggest he put Dan Bongino in that spot if he thinks there's a chance of saving it all.
i have my doubts but if he did want to try, Bongino would be THE best. He was in the NYPD.
He was a secret service agent and served there with a steller rep. He knows and understands what is up with the Deep State.
Bongino is tough, smart, qualified and loves our country. He's MAGA. He supports Trump. He respects our Constitution.
He would always do the right thing.
Nnobody could do the job at the FBI like Bongino. It sure as heck can't be Christopher Wray. What a piece of _____ he is. You can fill in the blank.
He and anyone who's a Wray surrogate has to go out the door and probably should be investigated.
Personally i don't see any hope for the FBI but if there were even a shred of hope Bongino is the logical choice.
Now how about your picks and why you think they're a good choice.Leave it in a comment.
Curious. Everyone's pick will be considered. You could even change my mind on some of my own.
