Back the Boycott #NYC Back Our Truckers!

Are you the same party as your parents are/were?

Your childhood home-very political or not? Which era did you grow up in? Did you ever see anything like we're experiencing today?

Do you support the truckers boycott of NYC starting today?

My parents were life long Democrats. They were active participants in local politics for the party.I say participants because they were never activists. They'd go to local picnics and fundraisers for low level offices.

That was it. Our household just loved John F. Kenedy.

i was going to vote for his brother Robert when i turned 18. I'm not sure what his policies were but he was young, cute, both a Kennedy and a Democrat.

The one Republican the folks voted for-at least that they told me*-was Eisenhower. He was considered a great General and very respected after the war.

Don't ever accuse me of hatred of the Democrat party or being a party hack for the Republican party. You can accuse me of becoming more conservative over the years loathing Biden and the current Democrat(Marxist)party.

You can definitely accuse me of being MAGA. Proud of it.

That said, growing up i was not especially into politics. I opposed the VietNam war, more because of a utopian vision of the world where there weren't any wars. The only magazine i was into at the time was Rolling Stone.

Then the abortion issue came up around 1973. At first i was convinced they were just trying to control women but that argument was totally lame. There was another party involved, the baby.

They couldn't seem to see that. This is when my eyes were opened to how radical the left(Democrats)could be.

The last straw was the lynching of Clarence Thomas and Biden was the worst. The attacks on Thomas were so egrigeous and unfair that there was no excusing them-and it really boiled down to his being a pro life conservative. All the liberal pro abortion picks got a pass.

Would you believe they went so far as to rummage through his garbage to dig something up on him? The worst was their getting Anita Hill to make up the sexual harrassment accusation against him.

Her accusation was phony. It was too obvious. They put Thomas through hell (like their doing to Pres Trump now). They made it hell for his wife.

They televised the hearings and put the whole country through it.

When it was all said and done she vanished. Justice Thomas rightfully called it a 'high tech lynching'.

I will never forget those words. He should have been able to celebrate the honor of being confirmed a justice. They stole that from him.

I've changed since the younger years.I still highly respect my parents. They were incredible people.

We started to disagree on politics but thankfully we would never let politics destroy our relationship.

Besides, Dad was suffering from Parkinson's; eventually we lost him. Mom's cancer returned shortly after. We had their health issues to worry about and parents to take care of. Politics was not the main topic at that point.

However, now i make a point of being informed.

After i turned 30 Rolling Stone just didn't interest me anymore. Besides, back in the day the focus was music and later the whole focus seemed to be politics and liberal ideology.

It's a totally irrelevant rag these days and none of the current music is all that interesting either. It's cookie cutter music with auto tune and corporate interests (more so than ever).

I digress... so let's get back on topic. The truth is the Democrat party is not what i thought it was. Mom and dad thought of them as being for the working poor and middle class. So that's what we thought. Know better these days.

Biden is horrid. He has to be voted out.

Most of the Republicans don't have the spine to stand up for Trump. The majority are not MAGA.

There are some good people but they're few and far between- no matter how bad they are they can't be worse than the Democrats.

Still, it's infuriating how complacent the Republican party is aka the Uniparty; with Mitch "Turtle" McConnel the so called leader in the Senate.

It's up to us people. By now you must have had it right up to the eyeballs with the Marxists destroying our country. Our justice system is collapsing.

There's nothing worse than their targeting our candidate, Donald Trump. I've got news for them; even if they throw him in prison I'm voting for him. What say you?

We can't resort to violence but we do have non violent means. We have power in numbers. I know this-we can't sit back and do nothing. I don't doubt for a second that all of us ARE fed up.

I totally support the NYC boycott by the truckers. I support anyone willing to stand up to the Biden regime as long as they use non violent tactics.

BTW. If you're young please don't make the mistakes i did. Get informed. Get involved.

Do some research. Don't write off great Conservative thinkers. You're voting on your future. We got where we are today largely because of uninformed jerks like myself that didn't do the research and make good choices.

Till my recent redemption anyway; voted Trump 2016, 2020 and ready to vote Trump this year come hell or high water!

The Charges Are Bogus!

*Just to clarify: we never told each other who we voted for. We would discuss who we'd consider voting for but once that vote was cast we kept it to ourselves. It was a private matter. No kidding, the only candidate our parents ever mentioned casting their vote for was Eisenhower and at that time it was way past tense.
