Could We Have the Election Sooner, PLS?

I'm always 100% supportive of following our Constitution. Still am, but i wish we could pass an amendment and change one minor detail; one law that in the big scheme of things probably isn't that consequential [like packing the Supreme Court].

Could we have our election sooner instead of so late in the year? There can't be too many people left to convince one way or the other.

Why pretend we have a President? Joe checked out some time ago. It looks like we're going to keep winging it. Maybe they'll let Joey out once in awhile to keep up the facade?

It seems like every Presidential race starts sooner than the last one and the candidates start campaigning well in advance of the election.

So what's the point of dragging it out? It already goes on way too long.

We could change the date of inauguration too. Why is it Jan 21st anyway weeks after the new year starts?

How about having our election in Sept and have the new term start the first week of Jan?

You could change both by amendment, right?

Maybe i just feel like it's dragging on this year; add to that the anxiety of not actually having a President.

I think it boils down to that i can't wait for Pres Trump to go back to the White House. The only we will know if he makes it is for us to vote.

It also boils down to Biden is in no shape to be in charge of the country and his VP is out campaigning. I've never seen anything like it have you?

He didn't resign from the office of President-he should have. He bowed out of running for a 2nd term. Two different things. The Democrats are worried about their party, not the country.

Kamala should have invoked the 25th amendment before it came to this crisis. Our security is precarious. Who is actually making the decisions?

History: Grover Cleveland is the only President to have served 2 non consecutive terms. If Trump goes back he would be the 2nd.

Trump can't go back soon enough.
