-John Fetterman likely won his Senate seat in Pa. over the issue of abortion. It didn't hurt that the other guy(Dr. Oz)ran a poor campaign but MOST likely it was the issue of abortion that carried the day.
The Democrats know Republicans avoid the topic. I'm not sure why they're so afraid of it but when they don't engage the Democrats run away with it.
The Democrats made a point of letting people know where they stood at their convention. No matter where you stand on abortion why would anyone celebrate it?
They call it a choice (aka reproductive right) but pro life or pro abortion any human being with feelings would be incredibly sad that any woman would end up making that choice...
A Planned Parenthood mobile clinic located near the Democratic National Convention in Chicago advertised free medication abortions, vasectomies and emergency contraception during the first two days of the DNC in an effort to provide "care, no matter where."
The mobile clinic was located in Chicago's West Loop neighborhood, near the site of the United Center and the DNC, from noon to 7 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, Days 1 and 2 of the convention.
As of Monday morning, Planned Parenthood wrote in a press release that "all appointments have been booked" and encouraged patients to make an appointment at a Planned Parenthood of Illinois health center in Chicago by visiting www.ppil.org.
"As people from across the country travel to Illinois this week, we are proud to demonstrate what is possible when policies truly support accessible reproductive health care," said Dr. Colleen McNicholas, chief medical officer of Planned Parenthood Great Rivers, in a statement.
The Trump campaign is focused on the economy and immigration. The former President-who supported the Supreme Courtd decision re Roe v Wade -has made it clear where he personally stands on the issue; abortion laws should be determined in the states and not by the federal government. You think the Democrats would have been happy with the decision. After all it got the Federal Government out of the way re abortion.
This means that some states will have unrestricted access [that is, abortion on demand] while others could ban it altogether while others still could permit abortion with restrictions.
He believes that there should be restrictions with exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother. Keep in mind this is his personal OPINION and has no bearing on any law.
He is not going to ban abortion. He didn't in his 1st term and he's certainly not going to do it in his second.
It's like their narrative that Trump is going to cut social security and medicare. He's made it clear he's not going to touch either.
He's only mentioned it at every rally, speech and interview.
Again, he didn't do it in his 1st term and he's certainly not going to do it in his second. Trump kept the promises he made to the American people.
Bottom line; what he did or didn't do in his first term is close to what he will and won't do in his second.
i think the problem is that the left never hears from their media what he's actually said.
Maybe when he has the debate toe to toe with Kamala the people who don't have a clue will get it directly from Trump.
I have my own pov with re to abortion but my point of view is irrelevant here. It's really about the Democrat's lie and the lying by omission of the media.
If you can find a video of Trump saying he would pass a federal law banning abortion you let me know. Share it. We have legalized abortion. It's been legal since 1973.
Why worry about the economy and inflation? Why worry about the invasion on our border? Why worry about our children being poorly educated? Why worry about gang culture and violence?
For the Democrat party abortion is everything. They use it to divide and conquer too. It's not an issue but they will try to make it one. They have convinced some women that restrictions on abortion are an infringement on women's rights.
They will use the most extreme cases to prove their point and attack their opponents; box them into a corner.
A perfect example of the tactic:

Anyone else find it disingenuous that she's worried about a woman that wants to have more children in the future but there are "approximately 200,000 abortions [worldwide]*per day"?
For a strong advocate for abortion wanting someone to have more children is counter intuitive even if that's [possible] future children.
I honestly don't get why they call it pro choice when they push one option and use tax payer funding.
BTW, why are taxpayers funding it? The industry is flush with money.
Our economy is collapsing, we're on the verge of WWIII and we have all these unvetted illegals invading our country but abortion.
*Anyone know the stats per day for the United States?
