For Those Young People That Think Nothing Ever Happens

Young people are anyone other than me and the people i know. Now that we have that clear let's talk to cynical young people.

Eventually slavery ends.

Eventually blacks and women get the right to vote.

Eventually the Vietnam War ends.

Eventually respect for our military is restored.

Eventually the military becomes all volunteer after the draft is abandoned.

Eventually 18 yr olds get the right to vote (politicians weren't dumb).

Eventually we land on the moon.

Eventually some of the draft dodgers came back from Canada.

Eventually it's against the law to discriminate against minorities.

Eventually a sitting President is impeached (Watergate).

Eventually that President is pardoned.

Eventually our Presidents are protected enough to prevent assassinations.

Eventually tv goes from black and white to color.

Eventually the Mafia is destroyed.

Eventually the mobsters end up in prison.

Eventually Bonnie and Clyde are put out of business.

Eventually Al Capone is destroyed.

Eventually we got conservative (real ones) Presidents.

Eventually we didn't have to keep changing the paper in a typewriter.

Eventually we didn't have to stretch the phone line across the room.

I could go on but eventually this will end. By now the point has been made.

Eventually we married, had kids and settled down.

Life went on.

BTW. Eventually plans can go south and people who don't want to work, might HAVE to work forced into it by circumstances.You don't always hit the green lights when you're in a rush.Life.
