Some pro life advoctes and pro abortion advocates always believed if Roe V Wade were ever overturned abortion would be illegal again.
I didn't think i'd live to see it happen in my lifetime,did you? It did. Some knew that overturning Roe v Wade would only send the question of legality back to the states.
Some states banned it. Some permitted abortion on demand up until the moment of birth. Then there are the states with laws falling in between the the other 2; abortion with restrictions based on trimester, circumstances, age of consent etc.
A lot of people mistakenly believed-including me at one time-that Roe v Wade had limits on when you could have an abortion. Not true.
It was legal up to the moment of birth.
Now the lefties are saying Trump will ban abortions. Trump has given his opinion about abortion but he's not going to make his opinion law.
He'll leave it up to the states, where it is now. Trump has NEVER said he was going to ban abortion. I have a different opinion than Trump re abortion but it's not a deal breaker. His opinion is not law anymore than mine is.
When Trump was in offiice people didn't talk about it much but Trump always respected states rights.
He always deferred to the states with a hands off approach. People didn't give him credit for that.
The other rumor that is going to start sooner or later is the Trump and China rumor. It's in the works.
The deep state is going to start the collusion story again only this time they're going to say it's China.
That's rich because Joe made a bundle from his son's dealings in China.
i bet China has plenty on Joe. He sold out his country to China, Russia and Ukraine.Bottom line is he's compromised.
I hope people aren't stupid enough to fall for the Trump is an agent of China narrative they're going to drop. Sounds like all you have to do is substitute China for Russia. Fall for it twice? Really?
The media is having a canary because Pres Trump made a sarcastic remark, meant to be humorous, about NATO.He sarcastically insinuated if NATO didn't start to pull their weight Russia could have at it.
Maybe he shouldn't have said it at all even if wasn't serious. I didn't think it was funny but i know darned well he didn't mean what they're saying he meant.
He got the point across though. They also seem to have forgotten that Biden SERIOUSLY told Putin a limited incursion into Ukraine would be ok.
Now that i'd worry about. It was like giving Russia permission to invade.
The Afghanistan debacle didn't help either.
It made us look stupid and weak. We lost a base we should have held onto.
The location was strategically helpful to our military. Joe projects weakness and incompetence plus he's so compromised it's not funny.
I'd be careful if i were the left starting a narrative about Trump and China as false as the dossier was back when. They're apt to expose Joe instead.
Look what happened to Fani Willis. It backfired. She exposed herself and now she's on trial.
The left has done plenty they will eventually regret. They set precedents that always come back to bite them in the butt and these are the worst i've ever seen them pull.
NOTE: Trump has stated his PERSONAL opinion on abortion several times. He's very clear that he believes it should be illegal with exceptions for rape, incest and the life of the mother.
Again, I repeat, he believes that Roe v Wade should have been overturned and become a states-not federal-issue. Anotherwords, he is not going to ban it. He respects states rights.
