The ABC Debate

I wasn't going to watch the debate. I typically don't watch them. I skipped the CNN debate but got just as much info from Twitter/X as i would have had i watched it. However, Dan Bongino had a special debate watch that night for the ABC debate.I knew that would be worth joining.

Believe it or not I didn't have to watch the debate. You'd be surprised by what you can learn from Twitter/X. I dropped cable close to 2 yr ago now. i watch NO legacy media at all and am just as well informed as anyne else(probably better informed(. You can get THE story*, rather than their story.

The Bongino watch was worth joining. At least it was more bearable.

Here's what i got from both debates with a focus on the ABC ambush.

The CNN debate was far better. The moderators actually remained objective & neutral. i was shocked at what a great job they did.

CNN is no cheering squad for Pres Trump. You would never know CNN is biased, if all all you ever watched was the Trump-Harris debate. They deserve props for that.

One of the main reasons a network would be begging for a debate is ratings. The networks like to get those ratings. Some of them-such as ABC News-have a 2nd reason.

[Once they get it, they start the hype]. The reason that may be more important to them than ratings is their agenda. The agenda this time was take down Trump, cover for Harris. There ya go-in a nutshell and they will do that even at the risk of losing their ratings.

I'll have to admit Pres Trump may have missed some opportunities in the ABC debate. IMHO he should have made his closing statement his opening statement.

It would have put them on the defensive right off the bat. The President did well most of the debate but they also knew what to say to throw him off-make him lose focus if they could.

He did. i don't think he lost it enough to do great harm, but i also feel it could have gone better for him. He didn't lose but I think saying he won is a bit of a stretch. He needed to demolish her and didn't.

I'm not sure he could have. Here's the mo they used that night:

Posit that he lost in 2020 with emphasis on the words lose and lost then bring it up repeatedly.

They co-ordinated the ambush on Trump. You had to surmise that they worked with Kamala.Keep in mind they were not going to fact check her but they threw in one to cover their butts. i bet no one even remembers that one. When she lied the mods never said a peep.

She got away with all of it. She used emotional appeal to deflect.

She used an emotional appeal to avoid answering the questions. She did that for the gullible. A candidate will use focus groups to find out what works to persuade people.

Tell me her policies and how they benefit the American people. What did anyone learn from this debate enough to make an informed decision?

She 'won' in the sense that she didn't fall flat on her face and she learned to control her cackle. It looked like she came close to losing it a few times.

ABC's big mistake is the mistake a lot of the networks make-they forget about the internet. They have competition and don't even realize it.

It could be they're convinced they're the be all and end all too.

We all know they look right into the camera and lie to the American people. We know they're colluding with the state and its agencies ie the FBI.

We learned the truth about Trump after Russia Gate(aka Spygate)but some ppl still fell for the Hunter Laptop story.

By now though i'm sure most people know the real deal;if they don't they either in denial, don't care or are ill informed. It would have to be one of the three.

The lies were already debunked. You wouldn't think she'd have the nerve to try them again. She did knowing the moderators would save their attacks for Trump.

Did the moderators point this out? Nope.

As noted, i'm no fan of debates but the CNN debate had to be one of the best ones in a long time. ABC should have taken notes.

The 2 CNN moderators are no Trump fans either. They were fair and objective in spite of their own opinions.

That's how you do journalism and serve the American people-they are capable of making up their own minds. If you don't trust the American people to use their own best judgement what's the point of reporting the news? The REAL news please.

*The Dan Bongino rule: get THE story (truth), not a story aka the crap the media considers 'news'.
