There's nobody like him. It's why i make sure NONE of my topics are minutely similar to the topics he covers on his radio show, his Blaze podcast or Life,Liberty and Levin on Fox News. He's not to be copied.
Besides i'd rather cover a topic that i'm interested in, than a topic that has been covered to the max.
I was trying to come up with a new topic when it hit me. I had to say a few good words about Mr. Levin.
Yes, he was a never trumper to start with but Mr Levin is also a man with a broad mind willing to give people a chance-at least ppl who deserve it. Levin has a high standard and i think he was afraid Mr Trump was not going to meet it.
I also think he was pleasantly surprised at the Trump presidency. He turned into one of his staunchest supporters. It's genuine. Mark is generally a fair person willing to give most people a chance. He extended that graciousness to Donald Trump. Trump didn't disappoint him either. Trump surprised a lot of people. Qualifier: not every never Trumper is fair and OBJECTIVE like Mr. Levin.
I disagreed with Levin regarding Ukraine but Levin has never expected his followers to agree with him 100%. He is very persuasive-he will try to win you over to his side.
I agree with him re Putin's intentions but i still don't think Zelensky is a great leader with his country's best interest at heart.
I'm not saying Putin is a saint. I am saying i don't trust Zelensky 100% while Putin is never to be trusted. I am glad that Pres Trump has taken a less involved approach to the conflict from what we have normally done in the past; involving the U.S. only as much as necessary. Mark Levin characterizes Trump's decision making on these matters to prudence. Good point.
I think Mr Levin envisioned a more involved approach although he is with Trump on trying to negotiate an end to the conflict.
Remember, Mr. Levin was part of the Reagan administration. Reagan's motta was "Peace through Strength". Trump is following that vision and building up the military Biden decimated. He's cleaning out the woke too.
I will say this: Levin is not a neocon. It's a word associated with war mongers who feel the need to solve every world problem with a military response.
That aint Levin or Trump and i find it offensive anyone would call them a neocon.
Levin can be characterized as a constitutionalist or conservative. He is BOTH.
He knows his stuff. `There were 2 books that were a heavy influence on me ; moved my conversion along.
I went from a flaming liberal to a staunch independent conservative who values our Constitution due to Mark Levin's Ameritopia and Andrew Breitbart's Righteous Indignation.
I sent a signed copy of Ameritopia to my son. He may have been a conservative before i was-to his credit-and a naval officer [also to his credit]. However,I never asked him about his politics so i would have to assume; i do know he voted for Trump.
Mr. Levin is a genius. You follow him you're not going to go wrong. You can't debate him-he will research a topic up one side and down the other beyond what he already knows. Nearly all his books have become best sellers, including on the NY Times best seller list [AMAZING!] i might be able to say ALL his books but i don't want to go beyond what i do know.
"Mark Reed Levin, one of three boys, was born in Philadelphia to a Jewish family,[10] and grew up in Erdenheim as well as Elkins Park. His father, Jack E. Levin (1925–2018), authored several books.[11] He graduated from Cheltenham High School after three years, in 1974.[12][13] Skipping his senior year of high school, Levin enrolled at Temple University Ambler and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Political Science in 1977 at age 19.[13][14] Later in 1977, Levin won election to the Cheltenham school board on a platform of reducing property taxes.[13] In 1980, Levin earned a J.D. from Temple University School of Law.[15]
Legal and political career
Levin worked for the Texas Instruments legal department after law school.[13][16] Beginning in 1981, Levin worked in the administration of President Ronald Reagan. Levin began at ACTION, the federal agency that oversaw VISTA and other volunteer agencies, before serving as deputy assistant secretary for elementary and secondary education at the U.S. Department of Education and deputy solicitor of the U.S. Department of the Interior. He ultimately became chief of staff to Attorney General Edwin Meese.[17]
After leaving the Reagan administration, Levin practiced law in the private sector."
