The Old Axiom: "Beauty's In The Eye Of The Beholder"

We know how Melania Trump was treated as First Lady. Guilt by association with Hitler, right? We know how Michelle Obama was treated as First Lady,right? Associated with her husband, King Obama. I can understand the rivalry between Obama and Trump. They're poltical opponents who disagree sharply on policy and the direction of the country. Fair game.

Yes, Obama was treated like a King by the media.Trump was treated like a peasant and worse. Likewise they treated Michelle like a Queen and Melania like trash. Prove me wrong.

I cannot understand the drummed up rivalry between Michelle and Melania. i wish the media would have treated Melania like any First Lady should be treated.She was dragged through the mud and a false comparison was set up between the 2 of them. It's absolutely true that beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Some people think Michelle is gorgeous. Some people think Melania is gorgeous. When a woman is running for President-or any office-even then it seems appearance is at the top of the list of qualifications. When it's a male, appearance matters but my point is that it's not at the top of the list of qualifications in the same way it is for a woman. Am i making sense here? What's your take?

The First Lady has a different standard than her husband and appearance accounts for most of the standard with a First Lady.It's unfortunate. I'm not saying that appearance doesn't count with a President but we know it doesn't hold the sway it does for the wife.

Every First Lady has carved out their own niche; a project or program they are passionate about. For Michelle it was teaching the children the benefits of gardening.I'll have to plead igorance and admit i don't know as much about her as i do other First Ladies. i could stand corrected. For Melania it was her program called Be Best and it was subject to ridicule.

No, i do not believe Michelle is a man anymore than i believe Obama's mother flew all the way to Africa to give birth and then flew back to the U.S. to raise him.She lived in Hawaii. Why would she fly all the way over to another country just to give birth especially when she lived in Hawaii?

i also believe the earth is round and our astronauts landed on the moon. I believe there could be pedophiles in high offices of government/politics but not at a place called Comet Pizza. Epstein Island-YES. When you buy stories that are PROVEN conspiracy theories the truth gets ignored-the real story loses credibility.

The Comet Pizza conspiracy inspired a man to go into the building with a firearm. i understand the strong feelings he had but it also shows these conspiracy theories can pose a danger to the public.He could have killed a totally innocent person that wouldn't have made a lick of difference to an actual pedophile. It wasn't helpful.

You're free to think Michelle is a man but i'm free to say that it's bunk. She gave birth to 2 daughters. Men cannot get pregnant and give birth. End of story. There are some stories that the media deemed conspiracy theories that were absolutely true. You bring the receipts there's no reason not to believe it. No receipts-

don't waste people's time with lies ie the Russia collusion lie.

Neither woman was shorted in the looks department; but it hardly matters how i rate their looks. They were attractive to their husbands.

Can we admit the media treated Michelle like a queen and Melania like trash? They set up the rivalry. i don't think anyone would have gotten into it were it not for the media's obvious bias. We may as well be honest, we're always going to stick up for the wife of the President we voted for, unless she were to do something so egregious neither looks nor her qualified husband would be able to save her. She would have to commit a crime [like armed robbery] to have the public disown her.

Now you have to admit this is a beautiful smile. She always took the media's abuse gracefully.
