The Young Conservatives Have A Little Dust Up

Candace had a you tube channel and for some reason i ran into it and decided to check it out. It was probably the title that caught my attention.

She looked young like she may have only been out of high school for a few years.

She talked about her journey from liberalism to conservatism. We had different experiences but on the same route. She was a good speaker and very likeable. Her channel grew but that wasn't surprising.

The next thing i knew Candace was testifying at a Congressional hearing.

She had grown from being a good speaker to dynamic. Ms Owens was going to be a force to be reckoned with. From the beginning I knew she was going to be successful in whatever she did.

i lost track of her but heard she was a Trump supporter. Made my day. The next thing i knew she was doing speaking engagements with another young dynamic conservative, Charlie Kirk. i caught some of those on you tube.

Finally, i was absolutely thrilled to hear she'd gotten married and started a family. i saw pictures of their wedding and she was as beautiful as i'd ever seen her; i'm a fool for wedding pictures.

i never had the chance to wear a gown when i got married so i guess i live through others. Her gown was gorgeous. Perfect for her.

Ben Shapiro

i ran into Ben Shapiro's you tube channel pretty much the same way i ran into Candace's. He annoyed me to no end though.

It was partly his voice and partly that i had the perception he was very condescending to other people. His voice was like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

I found out he was a Never Trumper. That didn't help. I surmised that he probably thought he was a better person than Trump;just too good for him.

Maybe Trump wasn't conservative in his book. Who knows? i didn't bother to delve to deep into the why of his TDS.

Later i ran into a few of his you tube shorts. Shaprio was actually laughing at some comedians. He could laugh. I was shocked.

It wasn't a put on either. i melted a little bit but he was still a Never Trumper.

I also heard him speak a few times in these shorts about various cultural topics. I agreed with him totally but more than that i was impressed with how he handled the topics.

Then the war between Israel and Hamas broke out. I learned that Shapiro was Jewish. i had no idea. i heard him speak about the conflict and i strongly agreed with him. He was spot on.

There were so many young people indoctrinated with garbage that they actually supported the terrorists. Shapiro has the brains not to fall for it; he has principles he isn't willing to compromise with anyone.

I was beginning to admire this guy. i still couldn't fathom his being a Never Trumper but you have to admit when someone is right even if you don't agree on everything.

Wouldn't you know Shapiro is also a talented musician and did a you tube of his playing the Ave Maria on violin. Blew me away.

One of my favorite hymns though i like the Franz Schubert composition on organ better. It was my mother's favorite and they played it at her wedding.

I requested it for her funeral. I am moved to tears every time i hear someone singing it if they do it justice.

Those are my thoughts about these 2 people. i haven't followed Candace for a long time and i can't say as i ever followed Shapiro. i came to respect him and that was a big leap believe me.

They are having some kind of fued but i'm not going to look into it. When people fued it's a matter for them to settle.

i know they were good freinds at one time. My opinion on a fued i know nothing about wouldn't have any affect on them even if i knew every little detail. They'll either iron it out or they won't. It's a personal matter.

Charlie Kirk*

Charlie Kirk is another fantastic young conservative. He's very relatable and likeable. He has strong principles like Shapiro does and he's very good at articulating them to young people. I know he likes Trump.

i'm not sure he's a huge Trump supporter-you know,MAGA- but i know he likes him a lot.

The one time i really did follow Kirk is when he was covering the Kari Lake campaign in Arizona. He was very well informed. I stopped by the podcast every day.

i actually sent a truth to Pres Trump and suggested Kirk as his press secretary. i was serious as a heart attack.He's sharp, he's young & he could handle the press. I'm sure Pres Trump will find someone without my input. He did well with his picks in the first term.

Nuff said on this topic. i know the Owens-Shapiro fued was a bit of a buzz for awhile so i figured i may as well say something. Kind of lame? Yeah, a little.
