Viki, Niki, Christie, Ronnie. Time For 'The Talk'

The 5-6 Gamecocks are hosting the 7-4 Tigers in the conservative-leaning state that former US President Trump won in both 2016 and 2020. But while the bulk of voters in South Carolina are Republicans, USC happens to be in Richland county, which overwhelmingly voted for President Joe Biden in 2020 and Hillary Clinton in 2016.
The location then is noteworthy. I guarantee that's not lost on the Democrat party. More on that news story in a bit.
However, i'm even more interested in how the GOPe has been responding to the campaign for Pres Trump.
If you think it's just the Democrats who believe Donald Trump should never hold office again you haven't been watching the GOP. If you're MAGA am sure you have. We knew back in 2016.
The GOP would just as soon Biden didn't win either
but they don't like our choice of candidate to take him out. They want their own; like they did when they picked McCain, Romney and Bush for us.
First they sent in Ron DeSantis. He was a very co-operative soul in their endeavor.They were convinced he had a shot at destroying Trump. I'm not going to waste any more time explaining this backstabber.
i'm sure i don't have to. Besides, i've said plenty about him already in several posts. Ron should have supported Trump when Trump was attacked by the Deep State-it was in his backyard after all [the FBI raid]. He said very little and did even less.
If he would have stood up for Trump, stayed out of the race and endorsed Trump in 24 he had a straight path to 28 with MAGA backing him. Now we're done with him.
It doesn't look like he's going to get it done for the GOP so who's next on their roster? Niki Haley. Watch the media and you can tell who they've picked.
It's a dead giveaway. She is never going to attract the MAGA movement and i don't think she had that great a record in S. Carolina as Governor.
They were counting on Chris Christie to do some damage.He's all mouth (they got that part right)but no brains. They sent him in as a heavy weight (pun intended)then he looked like an idiot in the debates. Didn't work.
He's not beating Trump.
How about Vivek? The guy that came out of nowhere at the last minute. DC Draino got him pegged on Twitter/X. i'd been warning about the guy for months when some people were getting starry eyed over him. Vivek knows exactly what to say and who to say it to. Shrewd.Another word for it is sleazy.
He's likely a plant. I don't think he's a plant from the GOPe though. Whoever sent him in doesn't have to plant him directly. It's like the media. They know exactly what to say without getting direct orders from Biden.
He praised Donald Trump rather than attack him. If he thought Trump was so great why didn't he just stay out and endorse him? He still has that opportunity; i don't see him taking it. He's a plant people. He's there to destroy Trump too. Let's take a look at what DC Draino had to say:

Yeah I mean sure he: -was affiliated with the WEF -took money from the Soros family -got rich in Big Pharma -does massive deals with Pfizer -pushed for masks, testing, and vaccines -thinks Mike Pence did the right thing on J6 -thinks Trump is a liar about election fraud similar to Stacey Abrams -never voted most of his adult life -wants to re-enter TPP -wants uncapped immigration (if they’re educated) -changes his positions weekly when called out But we should totally trust him to lead the MAGA movement b/c he called out Ronna McDaniel (like 99% of other Republicans have been doing for years
Ramaswampy responded to Draino and got set straight. i'm omitting it here but if anyone would like to read their exchange i'll make a point of coming back to post it.
Take a look at this too. There was another politician [former President]who was known as a smooth talker.Interesting to say the least.
The GOPe had the talking point that Trump couldn't beat Biden. They've been trying to use that to take out Trump. They're wrong. Trump can beat Biden and the polls show he is. They're trying to convince people they can't support or vote for Trump because he can't beat Joe.
MAGA knew better didn't we? What a line. Think about that- If we don't support or vote for Trump of course he won't win. DUH.It's called self fullfilling prophecy.
The Dems claimed that Trump led an insurrection. Did
the Republican party stand up for him? Nope. They started talking about the 14th amendment and the possibility of taking him off the ballot in their primaries.
Thank God we had some honest Republicans at the local level that put the brakes to that plan.
Pres Trump is the people's choice and that's why they want to stop him.

Ramaswampy is trying to divide MAGA. He may be thinking if he can get us to argue amongst ourselves some of us will gravitate towards him and dump Trump.
The opponents are always trying to find some chink in our armor. He's advertising himself as MAGA without Trump. Well, last time i checked, Trump was still running and we don't need a new leader.
He also promised to pardon Trump. Isn't that special?
The message behind that is, 'vote for me'. I say no need Rama. For one, Trump is not guilty where he needs your pardon. For another, i'm not falling for your little trick.
Draino nailed it with his picture of Vivek.

The Democrats have their own agenda but you know what they say; the enemy of my enemy is my friend. They may have different agendas but they are certainly sharing a goal. Take out Trump.
The Democrats are of the mind whatever it takes. The Republicans would just as soon sit back and let them.We've seen that movie before haven't we? Too many times.
They're NOT getting through MAGA. They can all call us what they want; deplorables, ultra maga domestic terrorists, listless vessels, a cult-they're desperate and we're not. We know we're a force to be reckoned with, an Imprenetrable wall, warriors.
It's simple. We love our country. We know we're on the right side of history. We value our liberty. You're loyal to us, we're loyal to you. You stab Pres Trump in the back we're done with you. We're forgiving people but we're not stupid.
We have a few Governors on our side who have endorsed Trump. Beleive me,if the time comes they need us, we'll have their back.
Several good things came out of the 2020 election. Mind you i'm not saying it's because of Biden or because Trump [supposedly] lost. I would prefer that Trump were in the White House, especially now.
However, some people learned how bad it could get and how good we had it under Trump. We all found out how deep the deep state is and how many swamp creatures were out there. We learned who is really on our side and who was always phony.
It exposed EVERYTHING; things we might not have ever known.
I'll be honest, i had no idea how bad it was and that there were people i should have questioned rather than trust.
Now Trump himself knows where the bodies are buried as the expression goes.
As for the fantastic reception President Trump got in South Carolina; yes there were ppl booing. A handful. Only to be drowned out by the thunderous welcome on the feild to chants of USA USA USA, a Trump 2024 banner and pom poms shaking in the air. It was electric. It's like this everywhere he goes but here he was in a predominantly blue [Democrat]city.Remarkable. The people love him. The media lied again. When will the Libs ever learn? The media is propaganda for the Democrat party. Who pushed the Russia collusion lie for 3 yrs?
