To My Fellow Pennsylvanians

Pennsylvania elected Democrat John Fetterman over Republican Dr Oz. The topic that got Fetterman there was abortion. Oz avoided it altogether. The Democrats really drove the issue for the whole race.

Fetterman barely mentioned inflation, the border, the economy in general. He wasn't running on bread and buter issues. He was stirring up fears that abortion would be banned if Oz were elected.

Now i'm hearing ads that appeal to Democrats by promising the Democrats will reinstate Roe v Wade if they are elected.

My parents were lifelong Democrats. I was a Democrat from the time i turned 18 and was first given the right to vote up until i was an older adult.

What i remember most around election time was my parents getting letters from AARP and the Democrat party causing them to fear the Republicans were going to take away their Social Security when they retired.

Every election year went by and it never happened but the letters worked every time they sent them. When i finally became conservative the letters annoyed me to no end. I was angry that they would put my parents through this especially when it was all a lie.

You couldn't calm down my parents and convince them it was not going to happen. Now the Democrats are using a lie about abortion.

First of all the Supreme Court already ruled on Roe vs Wade. it's done.Abortion was not banned. It was sent back to the states where it should have been debated in the first place.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg always believed it was terrible law. You can assume she would have voted against it too.

What overturning Roe v Wade did was put the issue before the American people and let them decide for themsleves. Some states would ban it,others would legalize it with restrictions and others would permit it up until the moment of birth like Roe v Wade did.

What President Trump would not do is federalize aborition again. As a pro life conservativei i oppose abortion period. Trump and i part company of the issue; he supports exceptions such as rape, incest, the lhealth of the mother.

it's his OPINION. BTW, he has NEVER mentioned banning abortion anywhere. He's very up front about his positions. If he were going to ban it he would have mentioned it by now.

As President he upholds the law; whether he likes the law or not. He's entitled to his opinion but he's not going to impose this opinion on anyone. He's definitely NOT going to federalize it again. He's not going to ban it.

My fear is the Democrats imposing their pov; not Trump imposing his.

I believe the majority of Americans agree with him on the issue. I don't but it's not a deal breaker as long as he leaves it alone.

i can tell you that women care about other issues too. They want to be able to feed their families, have a decent income, afford to heat their homes and fuel their cars.

They'like to be able to find a job and not have to work 2 to make ends meet. I'm positive they want safe streets and feel secure in their own homes. They're not losing sleep over abortion.

Pennsylvania law is not that strict anyway. Trust me, if you pro abortion people want to get an abortion there is always a place you can get one even if you're in a state that restricts or prohibits it.

Abortion isn't going to matter if you're murdered by an illegal alien or the economy collapses.

My own thinking is this: i don't want any President-Republican or Democrat-imposing their pov on abortion law. Republican or Democrat keep your hands off and leave Roe v Wade in the dust bin of history. Let the people vote on it.i'm 100% pro life too and prefer the states deciding it-where it's closer to the people.

Save your stregth Democrats. Don't insult our [women's]intelligence.
