Twitter or X (or whatever you want to call it)

i've been using x. Makes for a speedier address bar-just type x.
I'm not going to spill the bean on my x saga yet. Suffice it to say i've been there for ages and now i can't log in for the umpeenth time in weeks.
I go to log in and it wants me to verify i am human. Of course, i put in the check mark.
I would love to go to one of these sites someday-like X-and when it wants me to verify i'm not a robot i'd love to say but i am a robot. When i get to x and it wants me to verify i am a human;love to say i'm not.
If i weren't human what would i be doing there. Anyway, i do that and the silly capcha you can't usually read until you've changed it 20x shows up. I get through that and now i have to get a code to verify my email address.
Here's where i run into a snag. It's NOT my email address at all. It's some bogus looking email addy i wouldn't use in a zillion years.
I have to find some way to get in touch with support without logging in. This is going to be interesting. i haven't tried YET. i've been spending some time at Truth Social instead. No problems there.
Is X trying to force me into paying for a blue check making my account verified?
I can't do it. I'm on a fixed income and a verified account at X is not one of my priorities. I have to pay bills and try to get by on what's left. This month i want to buy Mark Levin's On Power and i'll be lucky to have the money for that.
I listened to the Mark Levin show today as usual (try not to miss)and there were all these lucky people calling in-they got through and he's actually sending most of them a signed copy.
It'd be great just to have the chance to speak with him and thank him for all he does. He gives a lot of us a voice. The man has chutzpah. You have to admire him and i don't always agree with him. Ok, most of the time we're on the same page but there are a few issues where we part company.Israel is NOT one of them.
I'm thankful to Musk for buying out twitter and letting the banquished get back on. Sorry to say his plan to have an EV mandate was not his greatest moment. It's a terrible idea. Trump is right.
I wouldn't buy one even if i had the money and could drive. The American people don't go for those kinds of mandates. We're fiercley independent. We were from the beginning.I hope we stay that way though the government has been very intrusive from time to time.More than it used to be.
I hope he's not trying to mandate having a verified account on x.
If you have a great product/idea you don't have to force people to buy it.We don't need a tyrannical government either. That's dead.
What else did i do tonight? Listened to Tim Cast on You Tube.i love their discussions-most of them are interesting. It's a good place for current events and lively discussions.
Today it will also watching the Glenn Beck pod cast on You Tube. I get the first hour. I wish i could sign up for the Blaze (not free) but it's the finances again. In a list of priorities it doesn't make the list.
Again, that same impediment-BILLS.
Still warm up here but not as muggy as it was. Ryan Hall figures it's [the heat dome] going to last a least a couple more weeks. I honestly prefer fall and winter.
In the summer it's always too hot to move.
Watched the Ozzy procession in Birmingham. No comment for now.
I did however look up Alister Crowley. I was curious what this was about-the British seem obsessed with Crowley. Ozzy had a song titled after him and that got me wondering.
Led Zepplin had some kind of association with him too.I knew nothing about the guy but for some reason these bands had an interest. He's more well known in the UK than here.
One reaction I watched to the Crowley tune* was that it was Satanist; what was the connection? I knew that Ozzy was often accused of being a Satanist so i figured Satanism had to be related this Crowley character.
First of all i learned he was not really a Satanist in the sense he belonged to the religion. In order to be a Satanist you had to believe in God.
Crowley did not.It doesn't mean he didn't serve Satan-he just wasn't aware of it because he didn't believe in God or Satan.
He was into the occult. The details made me think he was a pretty sick man. He achieved notoriety in the UK likely more for his bizarre behavior than his literary career.
I found out all i needed to know.
*Ozzy's tune was Mr Crowley. Heard it. Don't know what he's trying to say. Went over my head.
