the man who brought back free speech to Twitter/X

Thank you Elon!!

i remember when we were all anxiously waiting to see if the deal actually went through or not. It was a nail biter. It did and we're all very grateful to you.

Mr. Musk,

my mother used to say there were 2 lines of work you could go into and never have to worry about being employed.

They were medical-people are always getting sick and funerals-people are always dying.

Of course, not all of us are going to go into those fields but we all find ways to make a living don't we. Some of us end up with jobs we love.

Some of us just stick it out for the paycheck. Others like yourself excel in the work you are passionate about. Hard work, talent, a few brain cells and a good education don't hurt.

I know you've gone into the mfg of ev's.Tesla,that is. i rib you about it on X now and then. i call it the edsel of our century. Something tells me you don't appreciate that and just blow me off anyway.

You're thinking i'll eat crow one day. We're going to have to agree to disagree.

Let's ask the question then: what,besides love, makes the world go 'round?

1. energy-gas,oil,electric,fuels etc.

2. vehicles-cars,trucks, trains etc or put another way, transportation.Side note: it's a shame they don't mfg real cars anymore. The cafe standards have given us nothing but these plastic death boxes. They stink. Amtrak needs privatized. Government couldn't run a lemonade stand. It doesn't produce anything(except red tape).

3. internet-in this day and age absolutely. Even in the old days you needed communication. Now the internet is essential.

There are 1 of 2 things you need for the internet. A phone or a computer (some ppl have both). Who has the computer industry by the cajones? Who became one of the richest men in the world thanks to the computer?

Bill Gates. Your computer OS unless you own a MAC is Windows. We went through every windows software he sold-including the 2 worst, Windows 8 and Vista. Microsoft is always saying this is the last one.

We're still on 10 and Windows 11 is already out.

We always liked XP & to this day it was our favorite. Windows 7 wasn't too bad either. There's times i'm thinking (more often than not)i wish there were another system besides Windows but Gates has a monopoly on the OS.

Other than the aforementioned MAC when you think computers you automatically think of Windows. After all these years nobody has come up with anything new, userfriendly and innovative.

This guy named Elon Musk made a name for himself too. You think tech you think of Elon. i ask myself if this guy could come up with these space rockets why couldn't he give Gates some competition with system software and blow Windows out of the water.

i hate the thought that we contributed to the wealth of Gates. You buy a new computer and what's on it? Windows of course.

My next line of thought is, instead of the edsel of our century why couldn't the genius of Musk come up with a great OS?

i hope you take away from this that i'm not a big fan of Gates but that i far and away have a lot of respect for you.

I wish i were more convincing that a new OS is a great idea and would be worth your time/effort and getting away from the Tesla edsel would be more productive.

This is the best i can do.BTW, the right answer is love makes the world go round but in the economic world it's the trifecta i listed.

They're a requirment aren't they? Economically you could hardly get by without them.

Again, thank you for standing up for free speech in a country that has always prided itself on the protection of our fundamental right.
