Why I CONSIDERED Obama, but did NOT vote for him

Writer: NoBull_LadyNoBull_Lady

The Republicans put up 2 candidates to run against Obama;for each of his terms respectively. The first time it was McCain. The 2nd time it was Romney. I knew Obama was going to win. There were young Democrats canvassing our whole area. They had a lot of get up and go.

Obama had the momentum all along and he definitely had the black vote that was willing to turn out.

I didn't care for McCain or Romney so i considered Obama at least.I almost sat it out too.

Here's why i didn't vote for Obama and supported the Republicans instead. Note that I had to plug my nose to vote for them but they got my vote. McCain got silly at the end.

He ran a terrible campaign. It didn't help him any.

As for Romney i had more respect for him after his concession statement. It was quite impressive.

He was very gracious. He eventually turned into a real ignoramous. Maybe he was all along and i didn't see it.

Paul Ryan was a RINO and NEVER Trumper both. He and Romney are 2 peas in a pod. They've both become irrelevant.

As for my consideration of Obama:

Red Flag #1

Obama was calling for the "fundamental transformation" of America. It was an ambiguous statement. What could he have meant? It made me uncomfortable. A statement like that could use some detail. What's the agenda here?

Red Flag #2

Obama also said "I think when you spread the wealth around it's good for everybody".

The idea is a solid Marxist one.It begs the question, whose wealth? Where is this weatlh going to come from? Who is going to decide how it's going to be spread? What's the mechanism? For that matter how is it 'good' and what is the end goal?

I looked at Obama's background. I looked at his associations past and current. It wasn't looking good.

Red Flag #3

He was a community organizer with Acorn; a shady organization at best. In his memoir, Dreams From My Father, he admits his attraction to Marxist professors and radicals. He attended the church of anti American Jeremiah Wright and then denied it during his campaign. He notes in the same memoir that Frank Marshall Davis was his mentor. Davis was an avowed communist.

Some things you can't take away from Obama:

  1. he ran a great campaign. It was the 'hope' and 'change' campaign.

  2. he was a polished speaker. This didn't appeal to me but it made an impression on a lot of people in a positive way.Obviously.

  3. he was young and energetic.

  4. he is our 1st black President.

  5. he won 2 terms-imho the black vote made it possible. No white candidate is going to get the turn out among blacks that he did.Just my opinion. Take it or leave it. I'm not saying this in a negative way. You pick candidates that you feel best represent you and your interests [a campaign should hope for a candidate people can identify with].

While Obama was in office i noticed he liked to rub elbows with celebrities. A sure sign to me he was a radical liberal. Later on we found out he spied on the Trump campaign and broke down the barriers between intel agencies. He didn't think twice about abusing the powers of the office to go after Trump.

Hope and change worked because it was whatever you thought it meant.Anotherwords ,it didn't really mean a damned thing and could mean almost anything. Liberal ideology is good at that.

It's known as a bumper sticker slogan. It's all the left has.

All youo have to do is look at the violence against Elon Musk and Tesla.

The left wanted to have a mandate for the electric vehicle. They pushed Elon's [Musk]Tesla vehicles. I always considered it the edsel of this century. That aside, i considered mandates un-American,

The left would vehemently oppose my opinion re the electric vehicle. Climate Change is a key issue to them and gas powered cars and energy are considered the main contributors-anything that can replace it is their answer.

Now look at what they're doing to Tesla and Elon. What's the problem here? I'm sure you know what i'm getting at.(unless you're a liberal).

Back to the MAIN point about Obama; why i did not vote for him. Let's look at it from another angle though. What would it have taken to get me to vote for him?

If Obama had been pro life and pro American he would have been a good alternative.

We now have a great President who is both. We finally have a President that we the people really picked. Trump was not some candidate the party and powers that be stuck up there for us. I voted for him 3x and proud of it. God wiling i'm still around for 2028 then my vote iis going to JD Vance.I"m convinced he will continue the MAGA agenda.

I'm also convinced it was Obama-not Biden-running the country for 4 yrs.Obama's 3rd term did not go so well. Consequently Trump was elected. The turn out was too big to rig.
