Why I Side With Israel(Open-minded. Feel free to leave comments and correct any info i have)

This is why i personally take Israel's side. As noted you can leave comments if you find any incorrect information. i can always be persuaded to a different point of view if the facts warrant it.

Background:

US ROLE In the recognition of the State of Israel

"In 1917, the Balfour Declaration transferred rule of the middle-eastern region known as Palestine to the British Empire as a temporary national home for Jewish people. Between 1917 and 1948, Palestine was inhabited by Jewish immigrants who supported the idea of Zionism (the right of the Jewish people to return to the Holy Land) and Arabic-speaking Muslims and Christians who had occupied the land for many centuries. Tension began to form between the Arab Palestinians and the Jewish immigrants as both groups tried to take claim over the same portions of religiously-significant land.

In 1948, the League of Nations Mandate was scheduled to expire and Great Britain would no longer rule Palestine. The question over what to do with the tumultuous country was turned over to the United Nations who would eventually decide to create the new country of Israel, specifically as a promised homeland for Jewish people. The new country was to be located across the various holy locations in which many events of the Old Testament occurred and, according to the Bible, was promised to the Jewish people by God.

Now here's why i side with Israel. When you want to live peacefully beside your neighbors and they trespass on your property for the purposes of harming/killing your family don't you have the right to defend yourself and protect your property/family?

We've lived by Canada for years. They're not shooting rockets into the U.S. We have no incursions by Canadian Terrorist groups. Nor are we attacking Canada. It's not complicated.

Why is it that every time Israel is attacked and they respond back it's always Israel's fault and they are condemned?

Sorry, that's crazy.What about civilian causalities in these conflicts? Israel defenses go out of their way to avoid them as much as possible. The fake news uses unfounded reports. The Israeli gov't sends out flyers to warn civilians to leave a targeted area and gives them ample time to do so. Israel, like the United States, never targets civilians.

Unfortunately it can happen for a number of reasons and one of them can be a mistaken target.Israel always takes responsibility and offers restitution. They acknowledge what they are responsible for. Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis and other terrorist groups that target Israel have no problem attacking civilians and it's almost always their main target.

It's deliberate-especially when they take civilian hostages-a WAR CRIME among the many they commit. Yet, the international community always condemns Israel. Hamas et al reward their people for committing suicide. Once one of their own commits in the act of taking out Israeli's their family is given a reward. It's a terrible practice that no civilized people would consider. They encourage it. These are civilians. They commit acts of terrorism with no regard for life, even their own.

The U.S. is one of the few countries that stand up for Israel when they are lied about in the media. Our cable networks even used HAMAS data that they used against Israel.

One qualifier:The Obama and Biden admins abandoned Israel. We've recently seen the protests and demonstrations for "Palestine" and Hamas in our country. Keep in mind these people are as much anti American as they are anti Israel. Anti semitism has risen in our country and is prevalent on our college campuses.

This is another reason I stand up for Israel.i can see what is going on. We swore 'never again' after WII and the Holocaust. We'd be wise to remember this. Our fathers fought and died in WWII and defeated the Nazi's who were on a mission to exterminate the Jewish race.

i do know the Obama and Biden regimes were trying to undermine the Israeli PM Netanyahu and tried to interfere in his election-much as they tried to interfere in the election of Pres Trump here.

I believe i'm on the right side in this conflict and pray it is settled soon but it's going to take the destruction of the terrorist organizations for a final and lasting peace.

A 2 state solution is not going to work because the other side wants Israel destroyed; hardly a 2 state solution.

How do we know this? They have said so. When they announce their intentions believe them.
