Why I Stand Beside Israel

This is simple. I'll enumerate the reasons.

1. The area they were designated as their nation state-Israel-is historically theirs. They are willing to live peacefully by their neighbors.

2. They are a U.S. ally. They have been since the beginning. They have never abandon us even over disagreements.

3. They have a right to defend themselves and their leaders have an obligation to protect their citizens.

4. It is one of the few countries in the Middle East that has the same values we do. They democratically elect their prime minister.

5. They have the same enemies we do. They are willing to fight the terrorists that have targeted us as much as they have targeted them. Better they fight them there than us having to fight them here. Support of Israel is in our best interest.

6. We told the Jewish people "never again" after the holocaust. I believe we should keep our word.

7. Hamas and their supporters do not want a 2 state solution. They want a one state solution with the destruction of Israel. You give them their own state and they will be the first to attack Israel. It's a dangerous idea. PERIOD.

I'm ashamed of the anti semitism i've seen in our country. Why are these people siding with a murderous terrorist organization? That's sick. They say they're 'freedom fighters' or that one man's terrorist is another man's 'freedom fighter.' Here's a test to see if someone is a freedom fighter or terrorist.

Do they want freedom for ALL people including their enemies and if they win in battle they will grant that freedom? Ok, that's a true freedom fighter. They want to destroy the enemy, imprison them, persecute them or subjugate them-that's a terrorist.

Our founding fathers were willing to give the King a chance, they sent their grievances to him, they went the distance to work it out but when the British opened fire and killed one of their own all bets were off.The American revolution began-it wasn't their intention but push came to shove.

When it was all said and done they wrote the Constitution and Declaration of Independence.Read em. Our good intentions towards our former enemies is all spelled out there.

We wanted freedom for all people-in the end we abolished slavery and eventually leaders rose up to defend the civil rights of minorities until those civil rights became the law of the land.

8. Has Israel ever taken American citizens hostage, murdered our citizens, attacked our military, had terrorist attacks against our country or called for the Death of America? How about Hamas and the people in Gaza?

9. You'll never catch me carrying a so called 'Palestinian' flag and protesting in our country against Israel or the United Sates.

10. Can't carry our flag? Get out of our country

You'll never see me attacking people of the Jewish faith. You'll never hear me calling for the overthrow of the duly elected Prime Minister of Israel.If i carry a flag it will be Old Glory.

My father fought in WWII against the Nazi's and saved the Jewish people. They should never have to go through that again.

i never thought i'd live to see the day people in our country would turn so vehemently anti semitic and persecute them all over again-especially on behalf of a terrorist organization like Hamas. Hamas lies and i see people falling for them including our [corrupt]media.

How could they be so easily convinced they're doing the right thing? They are calling for their own demise and don't even realize it.

I'm not shocked when it comes from the left-i'm sorry to see some on the right falling for it. What's their problem? It does shock me. It's not the majority like it is on the left but it is disturbing to see it at all. Can anyone explain it? 

As a practical matter-a LOGICAL matter consider who the Jewish people are and who the members of Hamas are. The Jewish people share part of our Christian tradition. They're protecting the Holy Land including the sites related to Christianity. Note that EL means 'of God.'

Hamas is an Islamic jihadist group that has 0 tolerance for ppl outside the Muslim faith. They would destroy all the Christian sites in Israel if they had their way. They would drive every Christian and Jew out of the Middle East. You're siding with Islamic Jihadists? You' have to be nuts.
